Wee Beastie 5YO

Crafted on Islay, Ardbeg Wee Beastie is made from heavily peated malted barley and aged for 5 years in a mix of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Its young age highlights a raw, untamed character, delivering Ardbeg’s signature intensity in a bold, vibrant style.

Though not a wine, its character is shaped by its terroir. Produced on Islay, it reflects the island’s rugged coast and peat-rich soils. The locally sourced peat, used to dry the barley, gives the whisky its bold smoky identity.

The nose bursts with intense smoke, cracked black pepper, and fresh herbs. On the palate, it’s lively and sharp, with notes of chocolate, tar, savory meats, and espresso. The finish is long, punchy, and smoky, leaving a fiery impression.
