Crafted on Islay, Ardbeg 25 Years Old is distilled from heavily peated barley and matured for a quarter century in carefully selected ex-bourbon casks. Time softens the intensity, revealing a rare balance between deep smoke and refined elegance.

Though not a wine, its character reflects its terroir. Produced on Islay, it carries the influence of coastal winds and peat-rich soils. The local peat, used to dry the barley, imparts a softer, more refined smokiness after long aging.

The nose is delicate yet complex, with gentle smoke, citrus, and hints of cream and herbs. On the palate, it is silky and layered, showing notes of anise, toasted oak, lemon zest, and subtle peat. The finish is long, graceful, and beautifully balanced.

Best enjoyed neat to appreciate its depth and elegance. A few drops of water can open up delicate aromas. Serve at room temperature in a whisky glass, allowing time for the whisky to evolve in the glass.
