10 YO Single Islay Malt

Ardbeg 10 Year Old is crafted on Islay using heavily peated barley, slow fermentation, and traditional copper pot distillation. Matured for a decade in ex-bourbon oak casks, it captures the raw essence of Ardbeg—pure, untamed smoke balanced by time.

Barley grown under Islay’s harsh coastal climate absorbs salty sea air. Dried over peat fires, it develops Ardbeg’s signature smokiness—powerful, medicinal, and deeply rooted in its rugged terroir.

A bold wave of peat smoke leads, followed by citrus zest, vanilla, and a hint of brine. The palate is intense yet balanced, with notes of lime, black pepper, and sweet malt. The finish is long, smoky, and refreshingly crisp.

Best enjoyed neat to experience its full character, or with a splash of water to soften the smoke. Serve at room temperature in a whisky glass to let the aromas fully open.
