Winemaking notes
Created in tribute to Madame Clicquot's pioneering spirit, La Grande Dame Rosé 2018 is crafted from 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, enriched with 13% still red wine from the historic Clos Colin parcel in Bouzy. Patient cellar aging reveals a rosé of remarkable elegance, depth and precision.
Viticultural notes
Born from the exceptional 2018 harvest, this prestige cuvée reflects Veuve Clicquot's vision of Pinot Noir. Grand Cru vineyards provide structure and freshness, while the historic Clos Colin parcel contributes the still red wine that gives the Rosé its depth, texture and remarkable aging potential.
Tasting notes
Generous yet precise, the bouquet opens with violet, rose and vibrant red berries, layered with hints of licorice and Sichuan pepper. The palate unfolds with blood orange, mandarin, raspberry and fresh herbs, finishing with silky texture, finesse and exceptional length.
Pairing notes
Serve chilled between 10–12°C in a prestige Champagne or white Burgundy glass to reveal its aromatic complexity and texture. A perfect companion to refined dishes, from delicate seafood to elegant veal or seasonal garden-inspired cuisine.
