Viticultural notes
In the Douro Valley, northern Portugal, a unique combination of climate, soil and vines produces wines of great character. Equally distinctive was the personality of the celebrated winemaker Fernando Van Zeller Guedes, founder of the house of Sogrape. This rich red wine, with fragrant bouquest is produced from selected grapes grown in this region. It is dedicated in his memory to all wine lovers.
Tasting notes
Light spicy, berry, gamey, licorice aromas with a touch of smokiness. Dry, somewhat lean palate with earthy, spicy flavours and a touch of gamey prune in the finish. Simple, everyday red for food.
