Baron Philippe de Rothschild announces a new distribution partnership in Canada with the agency Charton Hobbs.
Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. has chosen Charton Hobbs as the exclusive agent for the range of French and Chilean wines from Baron Philippe de Rothschild in Canada.
Charton Hobbs will handle the commercial representation of the iconic brands Mouton Cadet (Bordeaux), Baron Philippe de Rothschild (Pays d'Oc), as well as Escudo Rojo and Mapu (Chile).
In 1930, with the desire to introduce consumers around the world to the richness of Bordeaux's prestigious terroir, Baron Philippe de Rothschild created Mouton Cadet. The brand has established itself as a true symbol of the Bordeaux vineyard.
For 90 years, Mouton Cadet has been an expert in blending, which is characteristic of Bordeaux, with the primary objective of achieving the best expression of terroirs and grape varieties. Mouton Cadet's quality is also the result of collaboration between its 250 partner vineyards and 7 Mouton Cadet oenologists, who work hand in hand from vine pruning to the end of vinification to offer a wine that expresses the full richness of Bordeaux's terroirs.
This partnership reinforces the mutual commitment of Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Charton Hobbs to establish strong long-term brands.
Véronique Hombroekx, General Manager and Brand Director of Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A., stated: 'We are very excited to embark on this new partnership with Charton Hobbs. I am convinced of the potential of this collaboration to enhance the presence of Baron Philippe de Rothschild branded wines in the Canadian market; the shared values of our companies provide an excellent foundation for a long-term partnership.'
Duncan R. Hobbs, President and CEO of Charton Hobbs, affirmed: 'We are very proud to enter into this new relationship with Baron Philippe de Rothschild, one of the most prestigious and established wine companies in the world, known for its consistent quality and excellence, with products loved by wine enthusiasts all over Canada. Our companies share a strategic vision based on innovation and a strong consumer focus. The Baron Philippe de Rothschild wines fit seamlessly into our portfolio of global wine and spirits brands. Charton Hobbs aims to strengthen the positions of the French and Chilean products in our portfolio in the market, to the benefit of our partners.
