Winemaking notes
For five generations, since 1774, the family has perfected tequila-making at La Hacienda La Gavilana. Located in Jalisco near the Tequila volcano, Volcán de mi Tierra captures the richness of the terroir, honoring its legacy, origin, and tradition.
Viticultural notes
A perfectly balanced blend of 100% blue agave from both the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, result of a thorough process that combines tradition and innovation to show off each terroir authentic expression.
Tasting notes
Volcan Blanco is a tequila where bright citrus notes stand out, reminiscent of orange marmalade, followed by hints of white fruits such as apple and pear. It finishes with smooth, rounded notes of cooked agave. Green apple enhances its freshest character, adding persistence and length on the palate. The salt with chile and lemon stimulates salivation and prepares the palate for the next sip. Very easy to recreate for any event or tasting.
Pairing notes
For the best tasting experience, serve in a Riedel tequila glass, a champagne flute, or a wine glass rather than a shot glass. It is best enjoyed at room temperature, ideally around 18°C (64°F); pour it about 3 minutes before drinking to allow the aromas and flavours to fully stabilize. After opening, store the bottle upright at room temperature and keep it away from direct sunlight.
