Winemaking notes
Michter's Bourbon is made from a blend of grain
of very high quality selected corn. It is then aged in
barrels. Actually manufactured in small quantities not exceeding
not the dozen new American white oak barrels.
This leaves no room for error.
Viticultural notes
Located in Shively, a district of Louisville whose history is linked
to that of Whiskey, Michter's Distillery extends over a plot of
7.5 acres and 67,000 square feet. This is where the
transformation and bottling, two small stills are there
also implanted. In 2014, a still designed
among others by the distiller Pam Heilmann of 81cm in diameter
and 14m high in order to increase production.
