Vines are grown in the traditional manner with integrated viticultural method, and any of course manual harvest at the optimal ripeness level. Vinifications are based on low temperatures and a minimum of extraction to preserve the fruit. Ageing only in French oak, at least for 12 months adapted to the consistency of the wine.

The Petit Lion follows the philosophy of his two elder with vinification and ageing concentrated on the preservation of their fresh ripe fruit flavors throughout their life, made to be consumed as an accompaniment to meals or in transition between them.
