Winemaking notes
A magnificent chartreuse of the XVIIth century which differs from other castles of the Médoc by its pink colour and its amazing collection of former and rare English roses; it is also named the «Pink Château». It is the only castle in the Médoc to benefit from a private harbour.
Viticultural notes
The soils are mainly gravely loams on calcareous clay.
Château Loudenne is a magnificent chartreuse of the XVIIth century. Situated by the Estuary of the Gironde, Château Loudenne is classified Cru Bourgeois in the Médoc appellation. It is also a beautiful soil on a large 132 hectares estate ; château Loudenne indeed enjoys its exceptional geographical situation.
Tasting notes
The colour is brilliant with a beautiful dark red intensity. The nose is marked by woody aromas,
coconut, vanilla in particular and notes of dark chocolate and blueberry. In mouth, the wine is
concentrated, structured with tight tannins ; the finish is supple and round.
