Harvest: hand picked. Tank fermentaiton: double jacketed tainless steel tanks. Fermentation time: 9 days. Ageing, 3 months in oak cask, and further 3 months in bottle.

Very meaty, earthy, smoky and oaky in style, this is a brawny Malbec, with plenty of ripeness that puts its savory characters ahead of the fruit flavors. It makes the wine more able to stand up to richer foods that are robust in flavor. As with any Malbec, you'll find the typical dark cherry and ripe berry flavors here; they just play a supporting role rather than take center stage. Pour this wine alongside rich, hearty meat dishes and you'll get a complete performance.
