            Winemaking notes
        
        
        The hand picked grapes are from the Cachapoal Valley.  After fermentation, the wine spends 20 percent in stainless steel tanks with 80 percent in barrels for a combination of twelve months.
        
            Viticultural notes
        
        
        85 percent of the grapes are from the Peumo Estate in the acclaimed Cachapoal Valley and 15 percent is sourced from within the Valley to create a more diverse wine.  Soils are predominantly of dark clay.  Temperate climate with warm days and cold nights
        
            Tasting notes
        
        
        This wine is intense dark purplish red. The concentrated aromatics deliver red fruit notes with touches of black pepper, coffee and hints of sweet oak. The mouthfeel displays rich flavors with ample, ripe and velvety tannins.
        
            Pairing notes
        
        
        Pairs very well with roasted meats, stews, cheeses, pasta, nuts and chocolate.
