Winemaking notes
Handmade in a copper pot still, affectionately named, ‘Peggy’, the vapour-infused distilling method steams the neutral base spirit through eight botanicals and is then bottled at 45% ABV.
Viticultural notes
Our unique selection of three locally-inspired botanicals includes, pearls of heather, common on Scottish hillsides, rowan berries, found in local wooded areas, and sea buckthorn, growing wild in Scotland’s coastal areas. Our five, classic gin botanicals (juniper berries, lemon peel, bitter orange peel, coriander seed and angelica root) create the base to a London Dry Gin with a complex palate and a lusciously long finish.
Tasting notes
Red Door Gin delivers signature notes of juniper and a defining citrus note of bitter orange, with aromatic sea buckthorn, floral pearls of heather and chocolatey rowanberries.
Pairing notes
Bottled at 45%, Red Door Gin is perfect served in our signature Red Door G&T garnished with fresh raspberries, or as the base to one of our classic cocktails.
