In 1843, William Matheson founded the Glenmorangie Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Inspired by its peaceful surroundings on the banks of the Dornoch Firth, he brought forth a pioneering single malt whisky wonderfully complex and exceptionally smooth; ever since, we have pursued our quest for perfection. Its pure, fine spirit is distilled in Scotland’s tallest stills, matured in the finest casks and perfected by The Men of Tain.

Scotland's Tallest Stills

At the height of a full grown giraffe, Glenmorangie's stills are the tallest in Scotland. The height gives lightness and purity to the spirit, helping to remove heavier flavours and deliver a smooth scotch that's perfect at any age.
